Vancedは販売終了となりました。近日中に、ウェブサイト上のダウンロードリンクは削除される予定です。皆様が聞きたくないことだと思いますが、やらなければならないことなのです。長い間、私たちをサポートしていただき、ありがとうございました。

holy fuck google just took down YouTube Vanced because of legal reasons.... oh well im forced to watch ads now and use features locked behind that stupid premium plan of theirs

But I think is far more likely and influential was Huawei using Vanced to get around the ban on Youtube on their services. That's probably a far bigger contributing factor than a Youtuber mentioning it one time in a video.
Funny thing is the Vanced team made a better Youtube app that the Official Youtube Premium app. 🤣🤣

now it's fuckin dead and i still dont wanna watch ads
@tomwarren NOOOOOO, YouTube has been consistently making awful changes for so long now and vanced (while obviously selfish to not provide ad revenue) was a more reasonable option than like £15 a month for no ads if you have no use for YouTube music
