［１日　ロイター］ - 米ミネソタ州で黒人男性のジョージ・フロイドさんが白人警官に暴行され死亡した事件を巡り、独立検視官らは１日、遺族の要請を受けて行った検視の結果、死因は「窒息」で、殺人により死亡したと断定した。また死亡原因となるような持病も見られなかったとした。

クランプ弁護士は、「フロイドさんが意識を失った後も3分近く、チョーヴィン警官は彼の首を膝で押さえていた。それがなぜ第1級殺人ではないのか。なぜ関わった警官全員が逮捕されないのか」と述べた。
