【AFP＝時事】米ミシガン州で、豪雨により2つのダムが決壊した。当局は「歴史的」洪水が起きると警告。住民数千人が避難する事態となっている。
同州を含む全米では、新型コロナウイルスの流行を受けて住民がソーシャル・ディスタンシング（対人距離の確保）を指示されており、洪水への対応や避難の障害となっている。ホイットマー州知事は、避難所へと向かう人々に対し、マスクを着用し、可能な限りソーシャル・ディスタンシングを順守するよう呼び掛けた。
